Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her siblings. Stone was considered to be an academically talented child when she began two grades when she was five. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She also competed in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move back to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to explore a modeling career. She did so, signing up with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Soon after, Stone relocated back to Europe and spent the whole year in Milan and Paris. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene within Europe she decided to pursue acting while living there. Stone was in Woody Allen's movie "Stardust Memories" at the age of twenty. The film received mixed reactions.
