Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American producer and actress. She earned the B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue is l. Ellis is is an American producer and actress who has been in the theater and television as also, has been actively involved in both the film and theater screen. She started her career acting in the theatre before going on to make appearances in numerous TV shows, both mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance in BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. She started her career as an actress in 1995 when she played Ariel in The Tempest. She's appeared as a character on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film work is highlighted by her appearances as a character in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. On television her regular role in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her high praise.
